Matt Coffee 1994-1995
Matt graduated from La Center High School and participated in the Fire Cadet program during the '94 - '95 school year and served as a volunteer for Clark County Fire District #14. After graduation of high school, Matt entered the army, graduating from the United States Military Academy (WestPoint) in 1999. While stationed in Alaska in the army, Matt spent three years as a volunteer and resident firefighter in a combination department near Fairbanks. After receiving an honorable discharge from the army, Matt continued to pursue a fire career and now works for the Portland Fire Bureau in Oregon.

Rocky L. Hanes - 1991-1993

Rocky was a member of the inaugural Fire Cadet Class in 1991. He was selected as the 1st Fire Cadet of the Year in 1991-92. In 1993 he graduated High School and was hired as a part-time paid Firefighter with CCFD #11. He became Washington State's youngest paramedic in 1994 at age 19. He was hired as a Professional Firefighter with Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue, Oregon's largest Fire District, in May of 1995.
He was elected to Secretary of the Tualatin Valley Fire Fighters Union, IAFF Local 1660, in 1997, and in September of 1998, at age 23, was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant with TVFR. He was elected to President of Local 1660 in 1999 and continues to serve in that capacity. Rocky received Local 1660s "Union Member of the Year" award in 2001 for his work on reducing the Firefighters workweek, and the addition of 4-person companies to TVFR.
Rocky serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Firefighters Health Trust, which oversees the administration of Health Insurance to Local 1660 Firefighters. He also serves as 6th District Vice-President to the Oregon State Firefighters Council.
Since 2002, Rocky has worked for the International Association of Fire Fighters in Washington D.C. as a PEP instructor, and travels the United States and Canada facilitating Union Educational events for State and Provincial Associations.
He continues to work on shift as a Lieutenant on Engine 60, C shift for TVFR.

Ben Meacham - 1994-1996

Ben started with Fire Clark County Fire & Rescue in 1994 as a fire cadet. After graduating in 1996, Ben became a volunteer firefighter with Clark County Fire & Rescue. He then went on to be a resident, medic EMT/driver through Job Corp, and a part-time firefighter from 1997-1999. Then in the summer of 1999, Ben was hired as a full-time firefighter.
On January 1st, 2005, Ben was promoted to Captain with the fire district. Currently he is in charge of all fire district mapping, hose testing and unit recommendation-CAD related issues. Ben was awarded the Firefighter of the year award for both 1997 and 1998 and in 1997 he also received the coveted Chiefs Award.
He attended Portland Community College, graduated with an AA degree in Fire Science and has a BS degree in Business Administration "Magna Cum Laude" from Concordia University and is a member of Sigma Beta Delta National Honor Society.
Also, Ben was the Union Secretary/Treasurer IAFF Local 3674 from 2001-2004 and currently is the IAFF Local 3674 Union President.

Nikila Robinett 1997-1998
Nikki was enrolled in the Cadet program in 1997-1998 After graduation, she became a Resident/Volunteer FF/EMT-IV Tech from 1998-2002. She also served as an assistant Cadet Instructor in 1999-2000
She received her AA degree in Fire Protection Technology from PCC in 1999. Additionally, she received a certificate in Fire Command Operations from the National Fire Academy in 1998.
She served in 2004 on a US Forest Service Engine in the Cave Creek Ranger District- Tonto National Forest, AZ. In 2005 she served as a Firefighter/EMT for the Globe Interagency Hotshots - Tonto National Forest, AZ.
