So you think you want a career in the fire service? Well, consider starting at Clark County Fire & Rescue.

Several years ago, the administration of Clark County Fire Districts 11 & 12, now Clark County Fire & Rescue, made a conscious decision to design programs to focus on those individuals that were looking to make emergency services their career. At the time, the role of the volunteer was rapidly changing. The philosophy was to concentrate efforts and resources on those career-minded individuals. The administrations felt that because of their focus, we would get three to five productive and quality years of service from them, and they in turn would get all the assistance that they needed to secure a position in emergency services. Well, the philosophy paid off for all parties and is evidenced by the following list of past Clark County Fire Districts 11 & 12 volunteers, interns, and part- time firefighters.
