Dennis Mason (Fire Chief)
 Dennis is a 30 year veteran of the fire service and has been with Clark County Fire & Rescue, formerly Clark County Fire District 11, since 1977 when he first joined as a volunteer. He took the position of part-paid Fire Chief in 1986 and became the full-time Chief in 1991. During his 28 years in the fire service he has served in the position of Firefighter, Lieutenant, Captain, and Fire Chief.
Prior to taking the full-time Chief's position in 1991, Dennis was the Deputy Director of Clark Regional Communications Agency (the county's 911 center) for five years. Prior to that, he served as a paramedic and eventually as General Manager of American Ambulance here in Clark County, Washington. In 2003-2004, Dennis served on a National Type 1 Incident Management Team and is currently a member of Washington State Incident Management Team #3.
In addition to his position as Fire Chief of Clark County Fire & Rescue, Dennis serves as a Board Member for a number of community organizations, including: Clark Regional Emergency Services Agency, Region IV Homeland Security Council, Clark County EMS Council, and North County Community Food Bank.
Dennis has an associate's degree in fire science and a bachelor's degree in public administration. He is a graduate of the Executive Fire Officer (EFO) program through the National Fire Academy and has achieved Chief Fire Officer Designation from the Commission on Fire Service Accreditation.
Dennis lives in Ridgefield with his wife Cindy. They have two grown daughters and four grandchildren.

Larry Bartel (Deputy Chief of Support Services)

Deputy Chief Larry Bartel serves as Deputy Chief of Support Services and works out of Clark County Fire & Rescue's Headquarters.
Chief Bartel first joined Clark County Fire District 12, now Clark County Fire & Rescue, in 1977 as a volunteer firefighter. In 1985 he became the first paid employee of the District. He started as a volunteer under his father, Chief Bill Bartel. He has an associates degree in fire science and a bachelors degree in Business Administration. Additionally, he is a graduate of the Executive Fire Officer (EFO) program through the National Fire Academy.
Chief Bartel lives in Ridgefield with his wife Susan. They have three adult daughters.

Dan Yager (Deputy Chief of Operations)
 Dan is a 26 year veteran of the fire service and first joined the Battle Ground Fire Department as a volunteer in 1979. In 1986 he was the first full time firefighter hired by the City of Battle Ground. He became a Clark County Fire District 11, now Clark County Fire & Rescue, employee in 1990 when Clark County Fire District 11 took over the City's fire department. During his 26 years in the fire service he has served in the position of Firefighter, Lieutenant, Captain, and Assistant Chief.
In addition to his position as Assistant Chief of Clark County Fire & Rescue, Dan serves on a number of committees including the Region 4 Homeland Security Technical Committee, the Clark County Radio Communications Committee and the Christmas Food Basket Committee. Additionally, Dan is a member of the Regional Type 3 Incident Management Team.
Dan lives in Battle Ground with his wife Jennifer. They have four children

Mike Ciraulo (Division Chief)
 Mike is a 20+ year veteran of the fire service, currently serving as the Division Chief in charge of Training and Education. Mike began his career as a paramedic in Santa Ana, CA in 1986. In 1989, he transferred to the Orange County Fire Department. In 1993, in an effort to relocate to a better place to raise his children, Mike accepted a position with Clark County Fire District No. 5 in Vancouver. Mike worked for one year with District 5 before being promoted to the rank of Captain with Clark County Fire District 11, now Clark County Fire & Rescue. Mike served as a Captain, Battalion Chief, and Division Chief with District 11. Additionally, he serves as an Operations Section Chief with a Washington State Incident Management Team.
Mike has an associate's degree in fire protection from Portland Community College, a bachelor's degree in business management and communications from Concordia University and is a graduate of the Executive Fire Officer Program through the National Fire Academy. He is currently working on his master's in fire service administration. In 2007, he received his Chief Fire Officer designation from the Commission on Professional Credentialing.
Mike lives in Battle Ground with his wife Gilda and they have two grown children. He is in his second term on the City Council and currently serves as the Mayor of Battle Ground. Additionally, he serves in various positions on the following organizations: Washington State Higher Education Facilities Authority, President of the Clark County Mosquito Control District, Board of Directors for the North County Community Food Bank, Chairperson of the North Clark County Steering Committee for Loaves and Fishes, Larch Corrections Community
Advisory Board, and the Lewis River Rotary.

Jennifer Yager (Human Resources Manager)
 Jennifer joined Clark County Fire District 11, now Clark County Fire & Rescue, in 1996 as the Administrative Secretary. Her position was reclassified to Administrative Assistant in 1999 and she became the Office Manager in 2003. Prior to joining the department, Jennifer worked as an Executive Assistant and Legal Secretary.
She is a member of the Washington State Association of Fire Chiefs Support Division, the National Association for Female Executives, the Willamette Writers' Association and is a Notary Public for the State of Washington.
Jennifer lives in the Battle Ground area with her husband and son. She enjoys spending time with her family, playing softball and writing.

Christi Linn (Office Manager)

Christi joined Clark County Fire District 11, now Clark County Fire & Rescue, as the Administrative Assistant in 2005. She brings with her 20+ years of administrative and accounting experience. Her career included 15 years as the Administrative Manager of a northwest business music company.
She graduated from Washougal High School and then attended Clark College and Washington State University in Pullman, Washington.
In her spare time, Christi enjoys reading, playing with her dog Zachary, home remodeling projects and weekend road trips.
Christi was born and raised in Clark County and currently lives in Vancouver. She has one daughter attending college in the Seattle area.

Jacquie Keller (Receptionist/Secretary)

Jacquie joined Clark County Fire District 11, now Clark County Fire & Rescue, as Receptionist/Secretary January 1, 2007. She brings with her 26+ years experience as a Receptionist/Secretary. Her career included 22 years as a Security/Receptionist in the banking industry. She also worked 4 1/2 years for a local law firm in Vancouver, Washington.
She graduated from Centennial High School, Gresham, Oregon.
Jacquie is also a retired Clog Dance Instructor. From 1980 to 1992 she was a charter member of the "Countried Cloggers" in Milwaukie, Oregon and was also a member of Vancouver Cloggin' USA.
In her spare time, Jacquie enjoys spending time with her Golden Retriever, "Frankie Jr". She also enjoys sewing, gardening and spending time with family in Oregon and Washington.
She was born and raised in the Portland/Gresham, Oregon area and relocated to Battle Ground in 1999.
